    Yes, we always recommend making a reservation to guarantee yourself a table, reservations can be made via our website or by giving us a call on 0799 550442.

  • Is there parking available for restaurant guests?
    Yes, we have parking to the side of our pub.
  • Is there a shop nearby?
    Nisa Local, Clavering is a 3-minute drive away, or if you need a supermarket Waitrose & Partners, Saffron Walden is a 16-minute drive away.
  • Can you accommodate large groups or parties?

  • Do you have free WIFI?
    Yes, all our pubs have free WIFI you just have to sign in.
  • Is the pub accessible?
    Due to the historic nature of the building we regret to inform you that our building may pose accessibility challenges for some individuals. Please feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any specific concerns or requirements, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
  • Are dogs allowed?
    Yes, furry friends are welcome in all areas of our pub.
  • What type of food do you serve?
    Our menus celebrate our access to artisan regional and local suppliers. Award-winning cheeses, local vegetables and home-grown meats are on our doorstep helping our Chefs stay true to our region. Our sample menus can be located here.
  • Do you offer takeout or delivery services?
    No, we don't currently offer takeout or delivery options.
  • Do you have vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options?
    Yes, all our pubs have vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options for all courses. Please make our team aware of your dietary requirements when you arrive with us. If you have any specific dietary requirements, please give us a call or email us at: info@thecricketers.co.uk
  • Do you have a children's menu?
    Yes, we do. Our sample children’s menu can be found here.
  • Can we eat outdoors?
    Yes, tables for outdoor dining are first come, first seated. If you reserve a table indoors and there is space on our garden patio when you arrive, we will happily seat you outdoors.
  • What time is check-in and check-out?
    Guests are able to check into our rooms anytime from 3 pm onwards. Standard check-out time is any time before 11 am.
  • Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?
    We try our best to offer early check-in times but please give us at least 48 hours’ notice if you plan to arrive before 3 pm. There will also be a potential additional cost, for more information please contact a member of our team. Late check-out options are also available at an additional cost, for more information please contact a member of our team.
  • Do you have a restaurant on-site? What are the opening hours?
    There is a restaurant on-site which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our kitchen opening times can be located here.
  • Are dogs allowed? Is there an additional fee?

  • Is parking available? Is it free or is there a charge?
    Yes, we have parking to the side of our pub.
  • Do you offer room service? What are the hours?
    No, we don’t offer room service in any of our rooms.
  • What amenities do you provide in the rooms? (e.g., Wi-Fi, toiletries, etc.)
    All our rooms have access to free WIFI and complimentary Bramley Bathroom products to use throughout your stay.
  • Is breakfast included in the room rate?
    If you book directly with us breakfast is included. However, if you book with a 3rd party this may not be the case. Please check your confirmation email to avoid disappointment.
